Man takes a pony for a train trip

CCTV cameras in the UK recorded images of a man trying to get on a train accompanied by a pony.

The man tried to board the station from Wrexham, north Wales, in a Saturday afternoon.

The train driver prevented their entry into the carriage, ant the man returned to the ticket office and tried to buy two tickets, one for him and one for the animal.

Yet he was not allowed to enter the animal transport, having been asked to leave the station.

Dogs are the only ones who can travel on trains, out of special cages for transporting animals.

Animals large as ponies and horses are prohibited because they can constitute a threat to passenger safety.
