Nina_comments_on_Egypt_situation

Egypt’s situation through the eyes of a 5 years old kid

Everyone knows more or less, what’s been going on in Egypt since the popular protest against the Mubarak government began in January 2011, but how does a 5 year old child explain that to a grown up?

Nina, a 5 year old child living in Japan clearly explains all that situation while her father records her testimony on video.

Nina’s father says: “The information Nina is sharing here comes from an Asahi Shimbun Newspaper article about the situation in Egypt. Nina saw the picture in the newspaper and asked about it and her mother explained the content of the article to her in Japanese. Then, the next day, Nina saw a similar picture in my English newspaper and started to explain what she had learned in English, so I grabbed my video camera.
We are flattered by all the kind comments, but just wanted to set that record straight.”

Some facts taken from Wikipedia:
The objective of the protest was for the removal of Mubarak from power. On February 11, 2011, Vice President Omar Suleiman announced that Mubarak has stepped down as President of Egypt as a result of the popular protests starting January 25.
On February 13, 2011, the high level military command of Egypt has announced that both the constitution and the parliament of Egypt has been dissolved. The parliamentary election will be held in September.
