A steam powered supercar measuring 7.62 meters has officially beaten the world record of ground speed by accomplishing an average speed of 225.05 Km/h (139.843mph) over two 1.6 Km ( 1 mile ) runs, reaching a top speed of 204.38 Km/h ( 127mph ).
